Ethiopian Designer Yodit Eklund creates African-inspired swimwear that uses indigenous prints, labor, and materials from Cameroon and Ethiopia. For designer Yodit Eklund, Bantu’s swimwear is about dressing women all over the globe in African-inspired prints while also helping the African economy. The line works with African artisans to produce the swimsuits. Bantu’s spring '13 swimwear collection is a perfect representation of the surf culture indigenous to Africa.
