Gozel Green's creative directors, have constantly defined their aesthetics as being timeless, original and artistic. This 2014 Fall collection titled ‘Earth Elegance’ is not an exception. Filled with puzzling unusual cuts, intricate details with baked clay colors in different shades; tell stories of nature, hope and strength.

The Gozel Green Clothing line kick-started formerly in 2009 and are known for their easy going yet stylishly wearable, sophisticated pieces and avant garde styles.

Sika is inspired by the rich and diverse culture of Ghana, West Africa.

Every fabric has been carefully selected in local Ghanaian markets and hand-made using natural methods, creating exclusive limited prints. Each unique piece defines an area in West Africa’s vast textile landscape, using traditional fabrics such as tie dye, batik’s and wax prints.

The designer has previously shown his designs on the prestigious runway as part  of a collection of South African designers.

Tlale said his first solo show was incredible and he feels like his career is just getting started. “For our first runway solo showcasing, it was phenomenal. I feel like we have just begun.”

Bezalel Ngabo was born in the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kinshasa. He realized he had the artistic abilities when he was very young and hence when he became of age, he proceeded to fine arts school, academy des beaux-arts to build his skill. Painting is his way of appreciating the beautiful world that we live in and educate viewers of the basic virtues of life that help contribute in making our world even more beautiful. He draws a lot of inspiration from the Holy Bible, which he believes is a mirror to the human spirit, and from day to day happenings in our society. All his pieces are original and unique and all come with a certificate of authenticity.

UK-BASED Zimbabwean fashion accessory designer, Pamela Samasuwo-Nyawiri, has been nominated for the prestigious Vogue and Muuse Talents Young Vision Accessories Award for 'The Best Emerging International Fashion Accessories Designer'.

The award recognizes the most influential emerging designers in fashion today and celebrates the reputation and development of fashion worldwide.

Pam is the first African to ever go through the nomination process for this award, and has whizzed through 10,000 potential accessory designers to be among the remaining 180 for the 2014 award.

The new Cherish collection of Nigeria-London based bespoke bridal, evening and formal day-wear brand is simply elegant, each peace is given a yoruba name, they are:- Abike, Aduke, Ajoke, Ronke and Tinuke.

Yemi Osunkoya is the designer behind the Kosibah label explained that Kosibah is a brand that specializes in contemporary and elegant couture bridal, evening and formal day-wear using luxurious fabrics and sumptuous embellishments.

Timi Alaere is an Australian based womenswear label launched in 2012 by Nigerian born designer, Timi Onduku-Pedley.

“Alaere”which simply means “Woman Of Substance” is the universal muse for the label. The brand showcases eclectic designs inspired by cross-cultural references and incorporating beautiful textiles that encompass exclusive, original prints with irregular organic flair and modern aesthetics.

Vogue Accessory was launched in 2011 as the guide for the latest accessory trends around the world. Every 3 months, the magazine creatively showcases the best trends from the latest neck pieces to hand bangles, earrings, rings and other classic accessories. For their January 2014 issue, they teamed up with Italian photographer Lucia Giacani and stylist Enrica Ponzellini to produce the“African Visions” editorial for Vogue Accessory. 

The editorial features models wearing turbans and accessories from designers like Dolce & Gabbana, Persol 9649, Versace, Prada, and Burberry, all fused with African prints.
