2014 WASHINGTON FELLOWSHIP FOR YOUNG AFRICAN LEADERS: Washington Fellowship 2014 Call for Application

The Obama Administration's Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) is a signature effort to invest in the next generation of African leaders. President Obama launched YALI in 2010 to support young African leaders as they spur growth and prosperity, strengthen democratic governance and enhance peace and security across Africa.

                           Welcoming Promising leaders to the United States

Leaders will attend U.S. universities for an academic institute in one of three areas: business and entrepreneurship; civic leadership; and public management. Coursework and training in each of these sectors will focus on the skills young African leaders need to run better ministries, start and grow businesses, and serve their communities.
